He couldn't react - Herman Munster on opioids. So why Wlads bias favor for a Joshua win?
Wlad seems to think he can ignore or act like his loss to Fury ever happened. Its like,"if I never talk about it, it never happened." Even more to his condescending point,"I don't know how I ALLOWED Fury to get that win over me, it clearly was my bad, my off night - he's clearly not on my level." But he was. Fury easily won fair & square. So I guess according to Wlads twisted logic: when Fury beats Joshua - Wlad is gonna "shine" like the SUN!!
The Klitscho vs Tyson Fury 2 would have told me a lot because I was confident Klitscho was going to let his hands go and if Fury ended up victorious then I would have hailed him as the truth. So unfortunately I’m not sold on him yet. He is like a Paulie Malignaggi of the heavyweights. A very down to earth guy though I met him in Bolton once by the reebok stadium

When they decided to give Pacquiao a major push, they pretended that JMM didn’t have a loss to Chris John a year or two before the rematch with Manny.
They also pretend that Erik Morales wasn’t completely outclassed by Zahir Raheem smack in the middle of his trilogy with Manny. They also pretend that during the trilogy, Morales was in the mist of a 1-5 string, with the only win coming against Manny. Loses to Barrera and David Diaz bookend the trilogy.
They also pretended that Cotto wasn’t completely outclassed by Austin Trout a year or two prior to Miguel’s fight against Canelo. At the time, Canelo-Cotto was the biggest event that could be made. So they had to pretend that Cotto hadn’t already shown noticeable signs of slippage.
The Wladimir/Fury/AJ thing is no different. AJ sells a lot of tickets. So they had to push the Wladimir fight as a changing of the guard. Which is difficult to do if they acknowledge that the guard had already been passed a couple years prior.
Boxing has always taken on the old WWE motto of “if it didn’t happen on TV, it didn’t happen.” The best example is when Hulk Hogan fought André the Giant at Wrestlemania. The biggest intrigue going into that match was whether Hogan could become the “first man to bodyslam André.” Even though it was common knowledge that André had been slammed by multiple guys, including Hogan, on several occasions prior to that match. It’s human nature for fans to wanna believe they’re watching or have watched something great. Which makes it extremely easy to sell them dreams. AJ is simply the most recent dream being sold.Last edited by hitking; 05-11-2018, 06:08 AM.
