What is a realistic roster for Matchroom USA?

The money is there for big signings for sure. I'm just a little sceptical when it comes to Hearn. I don't even think his UK roster is all that great tbh.

I think Hearn's skill has always been more with setting up competitive or interesting fights or just fights people wanna see then with signing talent. To me Hearn makes the best fights so yea I wouldn't really disagree he might not have the P4P best roster.

I do think he's gonna need some star power with his US roster doe cuz American fans need the flashy name to come out for a show. Otherwise he needs a plan to turn US fans into UK fans with that UK vibe of a night out on the town to get f#cked up & watch some fighting. And I think the flashy names angle is an easier thing to manage than to alter the base of the American boxing fan or to create these new UK-like US fans who just wanna get lit & have fun.

Realistically Hearn sucks at his job if thats the case. And I don't think Hearn sucks at his job at all. I think he's one of the best at his job.

He's already pulled Danny Jacobs & Khan from PBC. I have no reason to believe he can't pull 3ish guys from the Spence, Charlo 1, Charlo 2, Wilder, Thurman, LSC, Tank (when he becomes a free agent), Derevyanchenko (not sure if he's with a promoter or not, but he's PBC/Haymon), Hurd (not sure if he's a free agent or not either tbh) or Broner crowd.

And after that there are probably 20-30 guys underneath these guys who could be co-main caliber guys & main event guys within the next 12-24mos probably if moved correctly.

And after that there are maybe 40-50 solid to great prospects to pick & choose from.

Take 3-4 guys from that top tier. Give me 8-10 guys from that middle tier & give me 16-19 bottom tier guys & we got a 30 man new roster to add to what he gots + flip guys from the US to the UK at times/when needed or flip guys from the UK to the US at times/when needed.

Some of you mfers are nuts. Some big move gets made for a guy like Hearn or Arum with the ESPN deal recently & you f#cking dummies think its a bad thing somehow lmfao. Hearn is ABOUT TO BE F#CKING KILLING IT. And fighters who turn him down will likely regret it cuz as of right now there has never been a better time to be with Eddie Hearn.

This pretty much sums it up. We’ve been talking about Hearn signing fighters and doing big things but all we keep getting is announcements and no fighters. Poaching guys like Danny Jacobs Jarell Miller and An inactive Khan just doesn’t impress me. When he starts putting on better fights that’s when I’ll give him his props. So far all we’ve gotten is a bunch of loud mouth and mismatch boring fights.

I was going on about the sky is always f#cking falling to some of you guys. Hearn just hit the lotto with this deal. What he makes of it is still to see, but he's in a fantastic position right now that any promoter should be envious of. Yet so many mfers still talking about he can't do this or that won't work or blah blah blah always on some negative Nancy bs.

I definitely think Hearn will get some Haymon guys and I really think you're going to see him raid all the top amateur systems like he was doing in the UK. Didn't he grab almost all of team GB from the last olympics? He's got ****en prospects galore and even went and got Yeleussinov. Think he's gonna do a lot more of that, grabbing the top amateur's from all over the world now. What I personally would really like to see him do, is grab a lot of the top fighters from different parts of the world that don't have a huge profile. One thing that is easier to do in the US than UK is to build up international fighters to stardom. Hearn should be scooping up guys like Dogboe, Makabu, Rungvisai, Inoue, Nietes, Gassiev (he already has Bivol right?), Vlasov, Dorticos, Uzcategui, Barroso, Marriaga, Nery, Berchelt, Relikh, Briedis etc.
