What fight can Oscar get him that he cant get his ownself? Floyd can get alot of fights. He cant get guys like Hatton or Cotto but that doesnt have anything to do with money. The just arent ready yet. Theres nothing Oscar can do about that. Any other fight, Floyd can make, easily

Dont act like Oscar has been perfect. Alot of his PPVs that he has promoted have been ripped by fans and media. Either ****ty undercards or ****ty main events.

Also, I have a feeling that Oscar is probally just as greedy of a promoter then he was as a fighter. He probally tries to take more money then ever Arum just because he's Oscar.

Dont get me wrong though, I think Floyd wouldve definatly signed with him and I think that was the whole plan but I cant see Floyd doing that now. Its the only leverage he had. I think he probally feels that he has been in the game long enough where he can pretty much get his own thing going and promote himself

DLH never said he was going to hang them up he just isnt going to fight in sept. he has a messed up rotator cuff which isnt easy to come back from. believe me i know and they are not easy to come back. especally in boxing when you are throwing your arms out there. i am a pitcher and it happend to me and it isnt easy. than i got back into the ring and again it is not easy. why fight someone when you are not going to be 100% for it. so no one can come out with any excusses. if oscar fights PBF at even 90% people are going to make excuses if PBF wins. it wont be a good fight if that happens. so its smart to wait till he is 100% to fight him. i also think it would be a great idea for PBF to sign with golden boy. he can get the money that way. oscar wheather he gets greddy or not gets the money for his fighters. so you have to look at it like this. floyd wants the big fights he wont be able to get it himself especally if arum has anything to do with it. but golden boy would be able to give him some leverage. we will see. but i think DLH and PBF might happen in either december or january. i think this is a fight DLH will not pass up as his final.

Firslt, Oscar can set Floyd up with some big fights I am sure. He's got the experiance at the negotatiing table. Moreso than any fighter in history. Look at his earnings through his career as proof.

But Floyd is a big boy and he made his own name, and of course ANY champ can bargain the best deal for himself if he has the mental capacity.

Secondly though, I don't think Oscar wants to retire. My rotator cuff is currntly jacked up too from boxing and you loose a lot of power and speed from it.
