We have DAZN for a while here. Its 10 bucks a month, it has all kind of sports on it and also has boxing, fights like GGG vs Canelo and Floyd vs McGregor were free. You can cancel anytime. 10 bucks lol, its amazing.

This sounds like a great idea. I am very interested to see if the American public will catch on with this.

20.00 while doesn't seem like a lot but compare that to 5.99 on the ESPN plus app that Top Rank has it seems a bit expensive. That doesn't even include the packages that HBO and Showtime that are on premium cable that we already purchase.

If Eddie Hearns signs quality guys and makes great fights from the beginning that will go along way. Also I think if he looks into companies like 360 Promotions, Zanfer Promotions for example those would be a good quality promotions that are up and coming that Eddie Hearns should extend an Olive Branch to.

PBC is fully invested with Showtime, Top Rank is fully invested in ESPN, while Golden Boy is back and forth between HBO and ESPN. So I guess the question is who will this most effect and will could this deter the ZUFFA Group from coming into a crowded field of boxing.

Or it at least looks like things are shifting away from PPV for the time being. Sounds like the UFC will be doing the same.
How is PPV dead when he pretty much said a fight like AJ/Wilder would go to Showtime. Canelo/GGG is another PPV. He pretty says he could put on fights that Showtime has been putting on lately and those that HBO had to put on PPV for not having a budget for it like, Jacob/GGG and Postol/Crawford.

This streaming service is only available in 5 countries. Countries that probably don't get certain networks to watch sports. I'd understand why it works for them but I don't see it being big here in the US. Why pay $20 to stream fights and other sports? If I wanna watch a a football game, a basketball game or a baseball game I could just flip it to that channel that's provided through my Direct TV.People from Japan, Canada, Germany,Austria and Switzerland don't have that option so it's understandable why they suscribe to this. For 16 fights to pay around $20 a month doesn't seem worth it. I see it hard for them to compete with every streaming outlet here in the US.

I wonder this company will do like a 30 day trial like most streaming or apps services that the consumer pays for do. If they do that and put on let's say 2 high quality fights in one month that would in my opinion help with them getting more customers.

But I agree with you while there is becoming more increased cord cutting here state side, I see an unknown commodity struggling probably at the beginning. Obviously it's not a sprint at the beginning but Eddie Hearns will need to put on high quality content at the beginning for him to be able sustain his message. Lets just put like this his first card CAN NOT have Danny Jacobs vs Luis Arias his first fight.

Wonderful. Canada already has an app available on the PS4 and the UK might get one so we can watch on big screens:

So are you in Canada or outside Canada and using some VPN or something to watch the app? Couldn't find the app for the UK and curious if I can get it using some VPN that works similar to Netflix ?

In one of the interviews with the DAZN guy, he said that they already do a 30 day free trial and it will be the same for their launching in the US. Also made it sound like you can cancel your subscription and then pick it back up whenever you want if say you didn't like the fights in a certain month. Brought up a "pause button" for your subscription and used the analogy of going on a holiday then just hitting play when you get back to re-activate the subscription
