Somebody tell Kalle "Scarface" Sauerland that nobody wants Euwank to get an undeserved shot at winning the tournament.

I feel like Braehmer should be the guy honestly. But I'm assuming a all UK fight sells more tickets.

Regarding not letting Groves recover I still got no issue with that if Groves isn't fit. They said from the very beginning this is how the format would be. You fight on the dates schedule or your sub will fight in your place. Fair play to the WBSS for that. I like it. Granted if I was more invested in Groves I might be feeling less "fair play" about it, but ultimately this is how tournament works from the greek Olympics til today. You are fit to fight or you lose basically. I don't hate that concept while still seeing the appeal in having the guys who made it to the dance to get to dance vs each other.

But then again if Groves isn't fit to continue YOU KNOW Groves vs Smith is gonna be a fight that'll get made outside of the WBSS any damn way at some future date so its w/e.

People don't like this because they feel like Groves has earned it, and he has, however I really like this move. If you get injured, too bad the tournament has to go on otherwise it loses its steam and people stop caring. .

If LeBron sprains his ankle, they're not going to postpone the the Cavs game until LeBron gets healed and is ready go. The games still go on.

A guy who lost shouldn't be in the finals. I hope Groves can fight.

That's because LeBron plays in a team sport... totally different scenario.

To me, bringing a back a guy who already lost as badly as Jr did in the semis makes a mockery of the elimination tournament format.

As a UK fan, Smith vs Jr is obviously a more interesting match. But for the credibility of the tournament, it's got to be Braehmer vs Smith if Groves isn't fit.
