I never called Rodriguez a hype job, just that he isn't going to wipe out the division like you think. I called the rest of the PR's hype jobs because that is exactly what they were. None of the guys that were hyped like Verdejo and Dulorme went on to even beat a good fighter let alone being the next super stars of the sport.

Rodriguez is a good fighter, no doubt. I'm not dis*****g that. But lay off the hype in saying he's going to beat all at his weight because he just isn't.

I have a lot of respect for Puerto Rican fighters. You've produced some of the best in history. And considering the size of your island, that makes it ever more impressive. 2 Puerto Ricans are in my top 10 favourite fighters ever in Felix Trinidad and Wilfredo Gomez, so don't think I don't respect Puerto Rican fighters because I have a lot of respect for them.

Emmanuel "Manny" Rodriguez made it clear a long time ago he was going for the IBF, since the IBF ordered eliminators around mid 2017 but Omar Narvaez kept postponing and bailing on the eliminator at least TWICE! he even went as far as missing his flyweight headed for Puerto Rico for his eliminator, in reality he ducked out of the IBF when Tete was offered.

How many eliminators for the WBC did Manny fought?! CLOWN.

He probably showed interest in fighting for the WBC because that way he wouldn't have to travel for the fight. He could have it in the US.
