He wasn't the main event. Look at boxrec and click event. He's an undercard fighter. Never been the main event.

Most of us heard the press conference with Saunders and Eubanks Jr. where Saunders said "Golovkin? Golovkin would beat us both on the same night." Is Saunders scared to fight Golovkin? Damn skippy he is.

Yeah, but that was at a time when Saunders was a European champ and not exactly fighting at world level. Everything has changed now that he's had a bit of world level experience and holds a world title.

Saunders wants to fight him now, so the ball is in Golovkin's court. If Golovkin instead takes on a weaker opponent, then it's clearly a duck. No 2 ways about it.
