Ward is retired but stays in fighting shape year round. I predict he travels to UK for Bellew. It'll be his biggest purse ever. And then he takes on the winner of WBSS. Ward "retired" in his prime and at the hottest phase of his career so I don't expect too much ring rust. He will be sharper.

Kovalev was supposed to be the tough guy. He said he’d break Ward. Now his fans are crying the bad man got roughed up smh lol

Bellew will be for Ward at CW what Barrera was at LHW ... If he passes through he'll go for all the belts held by either Usyk or Gassiev and let them go again retiring ... Then he'll wait for the next opportunity to come back and screw the rankings once more...

Heard the interview and he didn't agree to anything. He said he was doing creed 2 and shooting the contender series. The guy said something like for being retired you seem all in.. Ward replied he was.

Btw if Ward actually agreed to the fight you could put money on Bellew ducking in typical British fashion.

Bellew is so bad that Ward wins without cheating. Usyk and Gassiev destroys Ward regardless if he cheats or not.

                Typical Ward thread:

How many fighters retire and come back and retire and come back etc? But when Ward does it its somehow unbecoming... He is asking for a beating, or looking for low hanging fruit.

Bellew has shown he is a good solid fighter and he has size on Ward, its a good fight, whats the problem?

Bellew also seems to attract the hate. He is not going to be the favorite here! Most boxing people would predict Ward would beat him easily so how is he picking an easy opponent?

                Its just good matchmaking.

You're right, and because he's a strategic fighter (like Ward) it could be an interesting matchup.

The break may have actually done him some good

Easy money for Ward in huge UK fight to put the final punctuation point on his career. Bellew knows he won't take too much physical punishment from the pants-removal Ward will subject him to.

Everyone's a winner. I can see the fight happening to be honest.
