That’s what I thought. I would be super concerned because ggg was rocked by a 23 month inactive jmw on Saturday night. Yeah he blew him out in the second but that’s expected given the inactivity and move up in weight. I love ggg but unless he fights like the first fight (very cautious) he is getting knocked out by canelo

I would go with Hopkins using his awkwardness and ability to take away the effectiveness of the opponent and their best weapons and in this case win a close decision.

I think it obviously depends on WHICH version of Hops you are talking about.

I myself use the Taylor fights as the dividing line. Pre-Taylor I would lean towards Hops by decision, and post-Taylor I definitely lean towards Golovkin by decision. Both fighters have cement chins, so nobody is getting put on the floor.

And sure, Sanchez is annoying at times. Ok, MOST times. But so what? Are people not allowed to have an opinion anymore?

People forget Hopkins fought a prime Roy Jones. GGG wouldn't make 12 rounds with RJJ. Many feel GGG lost to Jacobs I don't see him beating Hopkins in his prime. Hopkins is just too smart.

cmon now. Prime Roy was a beast no doubt, but it wasnt impossible to go 12 with him. Even if we ignore the guys with legendary chins like Toney and McCallum, Roy went 12 with a few 2nd tier guys like Lou DelValle, Telesco, Juilo Gonzalez, and Reggie Johnson.

I would give Golovkin little to no chance to beat a prime Roy, but I certainly think he could have gone 12 with him......

If Triple G had the size and athleticism of Jermain Taylor I would give him a chance. However Hopkins negates his jab and goes to the body for a relatively pedestrian unanimous decision.

Hate that he riles people up against his fighter but he should consider becoming a promoter, he knows how to get the fools on this site angry and frothing at the mouth over anything he says.

Sanchez is probably thinking about the last few fights of Bhop’s career which is foolish. The one where he got stunned at the end against Kolalev & getting knocked out the ring against Joe Smith Jr. But the Bhop that schooled Pavlik, Winky Wright, Tarver, Pascal, De La Hoya, & Trinidad, no shot at beating that version. And Bhop wouldn’t have had any problems with Canelo either because Mayweather, James Toney, and Bhop all had similar styles and everyone saw how Mayweather schooled Canelo, wasn’t even a close fight. Bhop is a tactician and he would have easily neutralized GGG & took away his power. Sanchez is on crack

bhop would confuse GGG so bad that even sanchez would have been silent between, rounds. no answer. prime bhop would hit and hold. pop shot and out, GGG swings at air all day.
