  • Comments Thread For: Tony Bellew-David Haye II: Afterthoughts

Maybe it's time to stop underestimating Tony Bellew. Unbeaten since a 2013 stoppage loss to Adonis Stevenson at light heavyweight, a bigger Bellew has been a better one. The quality wins are adding up first at cruiserweight and now heavyweight. He's avenged his first career loss to Nathan Cleverly, won a belt at 200 lbs., and has now stopped David Haye twice.

He fought the ghost of David Haye. He looked good the other night but remember the opposition as he is and not how he was.

If he stays boxing he should pick his opponents carefully. The current top cruiserweights look like a bridge too far.

Haye is done...Bellew gave him a retirement pay cheque.

Bellew should fight the WBSS winner.. He'd get murdered by the HWs mentioned

Maybe but I’d need to see Belles look good against somebody besides Haye whom I admittedly had overestimated

Pathetic article making Bellew a good option for Wilder. Delusion continues. Very pitiful!

                    Haye as a HOF?

Easily the most ridiculous concept around the guy.

He was a decent CW, but did absolutely nothing of note at HW.
