Napoles ? ZERO wins at 160.
Griffith? Really ? Lost to Nino at 154 already. Gil Clancy made him drink a lot of water before the weigh-in , didn't he ? Emile who went down back to welter after losing to Nino ? 23 KO wins in his career ? How old was Emile when he fought Carlos ? 35?
    Will you please stop.

Bennie was a damn good fighter. Much better than Jacobs and Canelo. If all it took to become champ was beat Quillen, Trout and an old smaller Cotto, then Bennie would be a champ also.

Napoles is an ATG. Stop with the ******ity. So what he didn't beat any middleweights, he's still a great fighter. Something that can't be said about Canelo and Jacobs.

Griifith is also an ATG who became a 3 weight champ. You trying to compare him to Canelo and Jacobs makes me truly sick. You quite clearly have no idea what you're going on about so stop.

      Clown.
Hearns was 6’1 and fought at cruiserweight and light heavyweight two weight classes above 5’9 Hagler. Stick to hockey ******.

How is that more significant ?
There were no IBF and WBO then.

WBC and WBA are a lot more corrupt now .

Not GGG's fault WBA, WBC, IBF and WBO are all freaking corrupt .
Never mind that boxers are tied with promoters exclusively these days .
Back then, boxers signed per fight contracts.

Freaking Oscar bought a belt against Sturm.

And had many wins at 160 before fighting Hags ?
Hey ******, just stating the facts.
Tommy came from the welter division.
Even weighed 145 in the Showdown fight day morning weigh-in.

Yeah, Tommy won a ****** WBF cruiser belt .
I bet that belt is worth millions now.

You're actually arguing at 35 yr old Griffith beats Canelo at 160?
            Whatever?

I agree with everything there. Monzon has a great resume and it's sickening to see people that really haven't educated themselves on past era's talk with authority on them just because they went to boxrec. Boxrec is a great tool but it's also helped spawned the laziest and dumbest generation of Boxing fans yet.

I'll say one thing. Napoles is one of my favorites in history but he was undersized at 160. Remember he was basically a lightweight who only went to welterweight because he couldn't get a title shot. He was doing well against Monzon early but was simply overwhelmed due to the size difference. I think he was a better boxer than Carlos though I wouldn't necessarily rate his career higher. Napoles though was still a great win given that he was the dominant welterweight champion, a clear legend of the game and was one of the best in the world at any weight class entering the Monzon clash. Different era's. I don't think GGG would get any respect for beating Crawford or Spence next.

When did I say that a middleweight beating a light heavyweight don’t mean anything? Show me where I typed that you pea brain b1tch. I said a middleweight beating a fighter who has NEVER fought at middleweight shouldn’t be respected. Obviously there’s exception to that rule depending on the quality of opponent. If GGG would of beat a HOF welterweight or jr middleweight then you’d have a point. Now stfu and stop suck1ng ggg d1ck weirdo
My, you are angry aren't you? Haha. Shouldn't go around making ****** comments then should you?

It wouldn't be a challenge to Ward though would it according to you? Why would you want Ward to fight someone that doesn't matter and has never fought at that weight?

You said Golovkin ducked Lara and should have fought him, but then went on to claim beating smaller fighters means nothing when they've never fought at middleweight. Idiot.

I love making a clown out of you, it's funny.

Napoles was a welterweight, and was so much so smaller he weighed in at 7 pounds less than Monzon at their fight.
Briscoe wasn't exactly on a winning streak. Had just lost to a 18-17-5 guy.
Griffith was good, but did have quite a few losses.
So you're claiming they weren't quality fighters then?

And what about Duran and Leonard then? They never fought at Cruiser or Lightheavy did they?

As I say, you changed the goalposts pretty quick.

Hockey? I've never watched Hockey in my life.

You do come out with some serious nonsense, man.

Griffith was a much better boxer than Canelo, so yes, i'm saying he's better than Canelo and would beat him at 160.
