  • he'll never beat Charlo. heck canelo won't beat charlo either. Charlo is the best in the division but GGG will not surrender his Zero so close to retirement. He's more concerned with wanting to secure his legacy at this point. He never moved up to fight Andre Ward but was always willing to fight floyd mayweather who fights at 150 pounds. GGG will be remembered for beating up on smaller guys and never willing to risk fighting someone who would cause him problems. I'm sorry but he doesn't qualify in my book as a HOF. His best wins came against Daniel Jacobs (controversial) and Canelo Alvares, who is way to small to be fighting at 160 LBS.

Too bad nobody gives a **** about your book. I'm going to laugh when I think about how salty the anti-GGG brigade is going to be when he's entered into the HOF 5+ years after he retires.

LOL, Canelo too small to be fighting at 160 .

Irrelevant, I'll answer yours but you answer mine.
        First, I am a kid.
Now, tell me, are you a h0mosexual or hetero? I believe the way you spend so much time protecting GG and with the *****ish avis you've had in the past (like the underwear one you had for 2 months), you have h0mo tendencies.

Regardless. I don't say much bad about Golovkin these days. I like him and really want him to fight the best. I don't want him to go down as some joke who fought bums and retired. But, there are weirdos like you who obsess and think my occasional posts about the guy are "obsessing". Dude, I barely talked about GG in the past year. YOU are the creeper who lives and breathes his name.

        • I'm a huge GGG fan. I love the guy, both his style and personality. But at this point I don't consider him an all time great middleweight. He squeaked by Jacobs and Alvarez, and has fought a pack of mediocre other guys. He needs to beat Saunders and Charlo to clean out his era.

          • What’s next is he should fight Saunders and Charlo. Build up that resume. One is the boxer type who embarrassed Lemieux and the other is the new up and coming boogie man (justified or not), just like GGG was a few years ago.

Of course, if he fights Canelo again, he’s getting a prime fighter, number 1 or 2 in the division. Also good for the resume.

Well said. He’d get into the HOF today, I think, but I think the body of work needs more to be in the ATG convo.

                • The article compares him to the ATG Lebron James easily the best basketball player of all time there is no question about that and Golovkin is in similar thread to such athletes, Golovkin can easily go down as one of the best boxers to ever grace that ring!

Lebron and Golovkin are both finished articles almost, neither have anything left to prove they've already done it all and the sooner these bitter ass salty haters deal with it the better, Golovkin and Lebron careers are already are that of legends.

                    • He needs to unify against Saunders and become undisputed. If he beats Canelo in the rematch that needs to be his goal. From there he should defend against Charlo and Andrade even though they haven't fought anyone yet. Hopefully between now and next year they will have fought a top 5 MW.
