Yep, 100% correct. It’s weird cos Ward isn’t even that big at the box office, most domestic rivals would net him more dollars anyway.

Not interested. There are so many good fights Ward could still be in, and even a few Bellew could be in, that it would be a total waste to have them fight each other. I'd be interested in seeing Ward vs any of the top light heavyweights besides Stevenson who is old, or I'd be interested in seeing Ward vs any of the top cruiserweights (or heavyweights since he said he was interested, he put it out there not me), but Bellew is not a top cruiserweight.

Bellew, I'd be interested in seeing him vs any of the top cruiserweights who have an offensive style, who Bellew won't have to find. Bellew vs Gassiev, Dorticos, Breidis, Huck or Glowacki would all be decent scraps.

Ward-Bellew, on the other hand, is not interesting.

Good win for Bellew. I was rooting for him to win so we could be rid of boxing's ultimate con.

But lets not get carried away.

Both of his victories against Haye have less to do with how good he is and more to do with how seriously diminished Haye has become.

Bellew should try to cash out while he is ahead.

        And stay clear of Ward!!

ward can't be in a good fight cause if he's challenged he will just resort to hugging and fouling nonstop. so its either a boring ward walk in the park or a horrible cheat-fest.

Tony Bellew, after a hard full camp, with no worries about weight, came into the Haye rematch a fit and trim 210lbs (say whatever you want a his physique).

Andre Ward, out of the ring since September but still keeping fit as a civilian, just recently got up to 200lbs. Ward's not going back to 175lbs but the moment he's set to get back into his gym rhythm, the weight will come off (would not shock me if Ward got down to 190lbs off of just getting back to training).

Finding a weight that works best for fighters would be the biggest hang-up. 185lbs would seem to make the most sense (right between 175 and 200, with Ward getting the edge of a few pounds), but would Tony Bellew really be on board with drying out his body 25lbs from where he's basically fighting fit?

Then we have to hope that Ward grows a pair and accepts the fight on Bellews terms which is another HUGE ask because Ward already ducked Froch offer of that and Matchroom were willing to pay Ward handsomely for that.

Then the other big problem is how long did it take for Ward to actually fight a live body when he finally returned?
Does Bellew have 1-2 years to wait for Ward to be ready, I don't think so.

This quote here interests me though:

Now If we're lead to believe this then what would likely be installed for this fight would be a good referee who enforces the rules, this alone would give a big underdog like Bellew a somewhat realistic chance to beat a very dirty fighter like Ward.

I still think Ward will duck this he has ducked plenty more in his career and he seems content with the very little that he has achieved in the sport, the Tyson Fury Vs. Bellew fight will likely be the fight to be made.
Ward is not a ducker. Hater

what is this fascination Bellew has with Andre Ward ?

even if he did win that fight..... Ward is not a draw, and Bellew will not look good

why would he want that fight ?

wouldn't Fury pay much more than Ward ?

not against that fight at all, I just don't see whats in it for Bellew ?
