Roberto Diaz and Oscar de la Hoya both said he isn't ready for a title shot.

Ryan Garcia and his team have to be patient. He beat a solid Jayson Velez but that fight showed major developmental issues that Ryan is lacking.

I was thinking originally that if Ryan beat Jayson by stoppage he should next fight a Robinson Castellanos, Rene Alvarado, or maybe Orlando Salido. But those guys Ryan in my opinion isn't ready for.

My vote would be Charles Huerta, or Carlos Morales next.

Ryan was the same guy claiming he was outboxing Lomachenko in a sparring session and so they stopped it . He was also calling out Davis, can't imagine his reaction when he finds out his own team doesn't believe he's ready. Hopefully he starts showing some humility and takes a step back. He was getting crushed by that TMT 135 lber who was also a prospect (although in a bigger weight class), and that didn't seem to help at all.

Thats my only issue with this kid. social media builds him up and his head wont even fit through a door. I get being confident but cmon. You cant act like your the TBE when you havent fought anyone. Get some fights and build yourself.
Its the same reason I couldnt stand AB, even know now I find myself pulling for him hahaha. I dunno Ryan just makes it cringe and guys like AB are smooth.

I hope the best for the kid I just hope he walks it back a bit until he puts some work in.
