Yeah it's a no win situation. I don't think the appeal is going to be granted. That fight wasn't even a sparring session. Do the mando ASAP by the middle of next month then move on.

Because nobody has ever heard of him. He literally brings nothing to the table. No money, no recognition, nothing. A win over him sounds meaningless at this point in his career. His best win is over Tureano Johnson, who is an okay fighter but that's it.

Why chase after him when you can chase after Golovkin, Canelo, Jacobs, and Saunders?
That and the fact that he looks good. Or else he would’ve been a perfect tuneup for last night.

I am not sure about that. I think maybe Oscar doesn't want the rematch. Canelo isn't Vada enrolled and GGG won't fight him unless he is Vada tested. GGG will not be bullied or lowballed on the money split for the rematch. I think Oscar plans to have Canelo fight Spike in September. Spike will take whatever pay he is given and won't complain if Canelo isn't Vada tested. That would free GGG up to fight the IBF mandatory. I hope the GGG vs Canelo rematch happens in September but I don't think it will.

I don't believe it. Vanes wasn't even fighting for the IBF. It's the same as the WBA didn't sanction the Brook fight.

Which means, I don't see how Loeffler can get ''another'' exception. the only way for them to bypass the IBF is to please DiBella and Devranchenko with a significant fee, especially since DiBella already stuck his head out regarding the whole situation. does Gennady want to pay a significant step aside fee?

what is this lying garbage? We are 132 days from September 15th. Canelo was tested 78 days out and was exonerrated by VADA themselves and Conte with hair testing. You can't continue to discriminate a fighter when all other athletes worldwide aren't even subjected to more than the 60 days out with VADA.

Why doesn't VADA release their CBP program tests from a random fighter from their top 15. Since every year is random, it doesn't matter if they disclose the dates. I want to see how many times Badou Jack is tested from 90 days from a fight.

If they negotiate for the Canelo fight, they could offer Derevyanchenko a step aside fee. Otherwise he should defend his belt OR unify against BJS.

I don't believe the IBF is allowing a unification

You are right. Interesting, I did not know that.

Negotiate being B-side? At this moment GBP and Alvarez won't do any favors for Abel and Loeffler unless they beg and submit to A-side GBP

It sounds like the IBF doesn't WANT to allow any other fight than Sergiy.

Loeffler appears to be fighting for exceptions for a unification with Saunders or rematch with Canelo.

If either of those fights are granted an exception for September, Sergiy should absolutely be next. (not to say that he shouldn't be next already). If they allow the Canelo fight, Sergiy will ask for a whole lot of step aside money, and rightfully so.

I'm all for fairness and giving people their shot. If they don't allow it, then either give up the belt or fight Sergiy. Pretty simple.
