Buffer must not be a forum member. If he read the stuff from some of the UK fans on NSB he’d realize they have many of the dumbest fans the sport has ever seen.

He should spend time reading the stuff dramashow, Tyrone biggums, junior gong, and some others.

On 12-16 the UK had 13 titleholders to U.S.'s 12 and Mexico was 3rd with 8. So there you go it is possible.

      1. Ricky Burns; 2. Carl Frampton; 3. Jamie McDonnell; 4. Terry Flanangan; 5. Tony Bellew; 6. Kell Brook; 7. Kal Yafai; 8. Nathan Cleverley; 9. Lee Haskins; 10. Lee Selby; 11. Billy Joe Saunders; 12. Anthony Joshua; 13. James DeGale

Did Michael Buffer make his comment on 12-16? Or was it about today?

He said more belts today but he could be guilty of exaggerating. They are within grasp of the United States though more than anyone else apparently.

Currently we have 10 titles owned by British fighters. Two of those guys are topping their divisions (with 4 belts between them). 6 other fights are ranked somewhere in the top 5 of various divisions.

It is remarkable for a country with a small boxing community.

Well the US has 14 belts...but it is a bit ridiculous as someone like Mikey is somehow ranked as lineal at light welter (with just 2 fights against Broner and Lipinets lol) and he is still ranked as wbc lightweight champ although he is no longer in the division. Personally I would not include the WBC lightweight title for Mikey, so that leaves 13 belts to the UKs 10, which isn't bad at all, considering AJ and Groves are active and topping divisions while Keith Thurman is inactive and yet still topping a division.

That wouldn't be exaggerating. It would be a falsehood.

As a guy from the UK, that statement it bull****. I regularly attend shows and they’re generally just full of drunken casuals singing sweet Caroline😂😂
I’ve only been to the bigger type shows out in the USA in Vegas, Brooklyn etc but in general I’ve met much more knowledgeable fans out there than I have at the big shows over here.

I love American money but you can't exchange it
When i came back from the states, i went to Thomas Cook
With a dollar, but ended up paying them to take it

Since yall want to count belts and feel good about it. Lets talk about how many times a UK fighter has taken a belt from a US fighter and vice versa.
