Joe Joyce will never be a world champion.

Not hating on the guy, but he hasn't got whats needed.

He will be the next Audley Harrison or David Price, a decent career without ever threatening the best in the division.

Just my opinion for what its worth.

I agree that he's not at the very top level and probably won't reach it. He's a little unlucky in that regard as a few years ago his talent would've taken him a little further. I'm not sure he won't be world champ though.

I think once / if AJ takes the last belt then he'll drop one or more of them to free himself of the mandatory snarl-up. Joyce may be good enough to snare one of those belts and if he does there's a UK unification fight to cap his career.

The way I'd sum him up is by saying he's so **** he's actually good. Stiff, slow, uncoordinated, pushes his punches leaving his feet behind - terrible from a technical standpoint but on the flip he's gigantic, strong, relentless, throws punches in bunches. As bad as he is there's a method to his madness. Its hard to prepare for where on Earth do you find sparring partners to replicate such a monstrosity of a style?
A good mover, a counterpuncher will undo him fortunately for Joyce there's very few of those at HW.

I don't think he'll have a great career but he'll do well considering what little he has naturally other than strength and size. If he has a great chin he's a problem because he's just going to overwhelm you. Juggernaut is a very fitting name.

I agree, a lot is going to depend on his chin.

He's pretty slow and his technique is a bit sloppy at times, but the HW division is hardly stacked with master boxers.

His engine, power and relentless style can take him far in todays HW scene if he's tough enough.

It probably says more about the talent level of todays Heavyweights in general than Joyce though.

I am a fan. He's a slow stiff euro bum who is relentless and has heavy slow hands. He is big as hell too. A classic oaf.

His fights will be entertaining but have a feeling he will get blown out when he steps it up but I will definitely root for him.

Listen dummy i have to insult you bc you're an idiot who said i was lying and beyond that here you are STILL with empty points but a WIKI quote of taking up boxing that somehow proves he competed ?

So theres nothing but insults for you the below will tell you why ..... .

Taking up boxing is not competing .

I TOOK up boxing at 16 and didnt compete until 24 ....

Does that mean i count those years training ?

                    No , why would i ?

Taking up something is a HOBBY or activity .

He self admits he didnt compete until after he got his degree ...and spent time in other sports rather than boxing where he had to go to a gym . .

He didnt get his degree until 2009 yet you're still arguing a fictitious point you dope and insist he has been competing in 2008 ,but you are the only one apparently that has this knowledge ?

Why dont you post his amateur resume if you like getting info from WIKI ?

You didnt bc NOWHERE will you find on record any year before 2010 that has his name . THATS WHY .....

You can write a whole novel, it won't help you. You were flat out wrong.

Here it is again in the biggest font possible for the whole world to see:
He took up boxing at the age of 22, injuries having curtailed his interest in track and field athletics, and joined Earlsfield ABC, based in Earlsfield, London.
Everytime you deny it I'll post it again.
