I don't have any reason to hate Golovkin but he does deserve some criticism. He got a lot of hype but I guess he was knocking people out. What I don't like is the same people that hyped him up are making excuses for him not being able to knock his last 2 opponents out. If he doesn't knock Vanes out people will continue the BS that he's old. I'm not sure he will get a KO. Vanes can fight..he's just a level or 2 below Golovkin.

Vanes want bad years ago, he'll have a lot of ring rust, only 3 weeks to have prepared, and is the naturally smaller fighter. Skill? I actually would not say golem has more skill honestly.

remember back when lil g ducked ward to chase cleanelo? ...remember how it was all his dream to unify? and how it made no business sense to fight the lil known ward when there was bigger fish to fry and more money to make? remember how silly it was that canelo fought khan who is a WW? remember how terrible it was that cleanelo took the wbc strap and fought khan and cotto and made tons of money in what was a smart business decision and still took the lil g fight?

lil g still aint got all the straps
lil g still chased cleanelo even after he dropped the coveted strap
lil g might have blown his chance at a cleanelo rematch and a boatload of cash
canelo is ****** rich and will continue to get even richer while lil g is fighting for table scraps(yes before the lil cack blowers get in ..I realize 1 mil is a lot of money to us common folk but we aren't discussing common folk here...were talking about a guy who was about to make 10 plus mil and is a world level, elite, boxer...not joe blow the engineer)

Yes, he's been hyped beyond belief, whereas imo a fighter such as lomachenco is one to get excited over. Golovkin has been a bum beater his whole career, and, unlike many other fighters, his entire career has centered around getting a fight with 1 guy.

There are lots of reasons why people like certain fighters. I personally think Lomo is good but I don't get excited over him. I don't like him clowning his opponents. Golovkin I enjoy because I generally like fighters that come forward and have power. For example I liked Julian Jackson because you knew at some point he would connect and it was lights out for his opponent. I appreciate boxers also but for some reason I just can't get behind Lomo.

I know what you are saying. I could never bring myself to like guys like Hopkins and Wladimir. They were boring and pretty dirty. Wlad's last fight was excellent though. He showed a heart I've never seen him display before.

I like Loma and Usyk a lot because I mostly prefer boxers with skills to face first brawlers like GGG.
