Winky is a little *****, hes a grown man, in a sport of where your ****en hands do the talking but he runs away in the 12 round of a close fight get the hell out of her and go and cry your bull**** to your supporters.

winky is a damn crybaby. he only went to hug taylor after the fight, this was before the decision was announced big difference.

winky go to europe and get your ass kicked by joe calzaghe, damn cry babby. you couldn't win the 12th round against vargas and you refused to fight in the 12th round with taylor.....

That poll pretty much sums it up, now do one on the B-hop fights too, 3 ****ty decisions all go his way.I'm not knocking his skills but he's sure got a helping hand along the way.More fighters and fans should ***** about bad decisions they hurt the sport.

a crybaby? jeez, u guys find the smallest things to rag on a fighter about. Winky thinks he got robbed, and after training for a looong time, he has a right to complain!

Noway that fight was a robbery, I can easily see Taylor crying about it because he's the champion, he didn't, Winky acted like a little ***** that night.

Which is worse: fighting the fight of your life, knowing you won, and saying nothing when three ringside officials take it away from you....or speaking up and saying "there's dirty work afoot"?

In retrospect, given the wide variety of opinions on this very board as to who won or even if the fight was close enough to be a draw, it's still not fair to judge Winky on his reaction to this particular fight which meant so much to him. This fight was his validation. Mosely could be chalked up to size and strength deferential. Tito could be chalked up in retrospect as no big deal because he'd already been exposed as a relatively one-dimensional figher. But Taylor....Taylor is the young stud, the future of the division; and possibly Winky's last chance to show all those years of fighting in obscurity were worth it...just to shed the light of his brilliance on the main stream boxing crowd. And, from his perspective...and mine....they took it away from him.

Ask any fighter how hard it is to swallow a bad decision, especially one with so much riding on it. This for the..that's THE World Middleweight Championship...and it was Winky's coming out party, so to speak. This fight...this decision, after all that work and all those years...hurt him.

After many years of being a first class act, I can excuse him of having one night where he decides to feel the pain and not hide the hurt. He had a right to be pissed....it sucks coming in second...especially to a younger kid, with fewer skills, and more exposure.

On a lesser scale, this was Hagler-Leonard all over again.

                    Guess who was Marvin.

perfect comparison there with hagler - leonard. i rarely see people call hagler a 'crybaby'. it's another reason why alot of the time a fighters legacy has alot to do with how they act outside of the ring.
