Gennady didn’t want to fight again and was scared of the rematch in a fight that he won and even after Canelo popped he said he’d fight him but yeah he’s scared

Gennady talked reckless and that’s why Nevada cancelled the fight, let’s ignore the fact that NSAC had no choice but to follow their own rules and to suspend Canelo

Let’s not bring up the issue that it’s been over 2 months since Canelo popped and he’s made no effort to have random testing even though his team said he would weeks ago. Really seems like a fighter that wants to prove he’s clean

Let’s not bring up that Gennadys team insisted on a 90 day testing period before the fight not Canelos usual 45. It’s almost like they had doubts beforehand that he was dirty and surprise suprised Canelo got popped the first time he was tested.

It’s clear boxing fans will come up with any narrative that supports the fighter they like

Thats common sense. He could fail another drug test and be suspended again. He can suddenly retire for unknown reasons. Paul Williams career got cut short early. Salvador Sanchez died. Its not an absolute given he will keep making bigger and bigger purses every time. Hes not that big of a star like the guys before him. Especially now.

Good for GGG. Its disgusting how the WBC President and the NSAC are acting like "oh poor Canelo" "he is really a good guy" "just give him a chance" "the butchers are to be blamed"... gtfoh. Pass the tests! He is right in saying they are all complicit. The NSAC stands to maintain its relevance and make some money out of hosting this mega event, and many others that follow it because Canelo is a star and Vegas wants all big fights in Vegas. As for the WBC...same thing. They want Canelo wearing that green belt no matter what. They have a long history of overrating Mexican fighters in their rankings and into quick title shots. Enough with the bias. He should have gotten a year ban and a hefty fine. too many complicit interests in boxing... sanctioning bodies, state athletic commisions, promoters, tv networks... If there is one thing the UFC does better than boxing, its structure and organization.

and why are so many mexicans hating on GGG when canelo failed a drug test? he failed 2 tests.

clearly he is the WBC cash cow and that corrupt organization will back him to the hilt. sad that canelo is the face of mexican boxing. at least we have a lot of good fights coming up. props for GGG for not selling out and staying true to his beliefs. i am surprised by how many fans are upset about GGG still attacking canelo but some men value their beliefs and hold on to their convictions rather than selling out to the highest bidder. its a peasant mentality that some fans possess which is pretty pathetic.
