Why does Canelo need a tune-up? He hasn't been out of the ring for long.

im sorry for bringing race into this but it shocks me how GGG gets hate. hes beaten most of the top guys at 160 except saunders and thats the only fight that makes sense for me. idk any of these other mandatories...GGG needs just one last belt that BJJ has and BJJ is a really good boxer so itll also be a great match. i dont know any sergey othet than kovalev who fights at 75. fuyck the commissions and their mandatories.

welp...as weve noticed lately that doesn't happen when he steps up the comp level......

abel and company basically begging canelo to stand in front of him with his hands down...but chavez sr put them all in their place

so its back to putting C level/or lower weight guys in the ring...that's the recipe to build lil g into the hype machine

Not really saying they should do whatever they want, but sadly that's the truth. They have the liberty of doing what they please and get away with it. I.e. Pacquiao and his signature catch weights, Floyd and his "retirements", etc.
