I honestly find this to be more true of black people than whites or latinos.

There is definitely a predisposition toward geography too, as in many people simply support the fighter from their neck of the woods. This is fairly understandable I suppose, but in the case of these 'negotiations', surely anyoone with eyes can see who has been trying hard to make something happen and who has acted a bit amateurish.

I'm pretty optimistic about it getting made. My own opinion is 60/40 Joshua favourite, but with Wilder's power he's a threat to end it at any time. I think he'll be eating a steady diet of jabs though, his best chance to land something big will be on the counter. Looking forward to it.

The reality is hes struggled in just about every title defense hes been in except the Arreola and Stiverne fights . His fights have just about went late rnds and against a aggressive counter puncher who doesnt stop jabbing to set up range aint going to be that easy for 2 punch at a time Wilder who will also not have a great reach advantage he relies on .

His best K.O win which was Stiverne was ACTUALLY set up by a back of the head shot that the ref was out of position to see .


This tells me based on all his fights that Joshua is going to have to follow Wilder around the ring like a dope and get punched in the face repeadily and stop throwing active combos from mid range while getting punched in the back of the head .

What are the odds he does this ? 0%

Of course it is a dangerous fight bc Wilder CAN hurt you but all these crazy ppl thinking Joshua is made of paper is as dumb as it gets as though hes going to die with the first punch landed , dont they study fights and see the OTHER guy has take punches too ?

Here are some facts:

1. Wilder himself (not his promoter, or one of them) made an 'offer' on social media of $50M.

2. Hearn says "we're interested, let's see what you got."

3. They won't meet, talk or otherwise say anything about terms and conditions, and won't put anything on paper.

In this scenario, which party is acting like a pro and which party is just making ridiculous PR stunts?

Ring IQ a few days ago said the $50million offer was a PR stunt. Now it comes out Hearn was indeed provided proof of funds. So whoever he is, he should eat a humble pie and gag order himself on this topic.

During this whole situation between Wilder's and Joshua's negotiations, I've been seeing a lot of their fanboys going at it on the forums, and coincidentally stumbled onto a video criticizing Anthony Joshua, from a YouTuber called Barbershop Conversations. This other YouTuber, called Ring IQ Boxing Talk, actually replied to said video, and had some funny things to say about Wilder fanboys. I'm not really a fan of either fighters yet. I think Joshua's been looking slow and gun shy as of late, and it's no secret that Wilder has limited boxing skills. What do y'all think of the video?

They're only entertaining the fight because they'd rather lose to him than Povetkin. They're cashing the hype job out. The Joshua who fought Parker gets his immobile cinder block head of his blown off of his shoulders. At least he'll have a nice retirement plan to show for it.
