I'll stand corrected on the latino thing, and I don't disagree that it is understandable that African Americans support their own.I think you're confusing racial bias and ethnic bias. African Americans support fighters from their ethnic group. American whites are biased against their own countrymen and tend to favor color since they don't have prominent fighters and they seem to identify with race more than nationality. They're very hypocritical about it, but you can see it in their double standards.
You can't expect African Americans to not support their own. You'd do the same thing if you were in their shoes and have the same history and legacy as they do. And not only that, they will not hesitate to criticize their own fighters publicly, something you will never see a Brit do.
And as far as Latinos go, I sincerely hope you're kidding. They're by far the most biased, viciously patriotic and racist fans in the sport. Some of the most racists comments I've seen online came from latin fans. Only fanbase I would say is more **********ic are the Brits, though they're much less racist.
However, I think Brits are the most impartial among all fans.
There are many who openly dislike (hate?) some of their own, they have the least racial bias (race discrimination is much less of a problem in the UK than stateside) and all in all are pretty level headed when it comes to where they place their loyalties.Comment

I sincerely have to disagree about the Brits. While I used to respect their knowledge of the sport, the chauvinism they showed after the relative success they've had over the last years and their attitude towards the Wilder - Joshua debacle shows me that they're easily one of the most partial of all groups.I'll stand corrected on the latino thing, and I don't disagree that it is understandable that African Americans support their own.

One of the best videos I have ever listen to, don’t agree that Joshua beats WIlder but he describe everything else perfectly. This is the exact definition of fanboys. I don’t however agree that Joshua is a B-level fighter doe, he isn’t in his prime yet. But gosh in under 20 fights he hasn’t achieved more than what Wilder fanboys would hope he wouldn’t have achieved, and the thing that the host pointed out is NOT that Wilder wasn’t here, he has been here for 40 fights, but the hate that they have towards Joshua is now why they are paying any attention to Wilder, Wilder has basically used Joshua name to propel his name, and yes Ortiz was now the boogeyman, but not according to those fans 18 months ago.Comment

What problem do you have with Brits over what you describe as "the Wilder - Joshua debacle?"I sincerely have to disagree about the Brits. While I used to respect their knowledge of the sport, the chauvinism they showed after the relative success they've had over the last years and their attitude towards the Wilder - Joshua debacle shows me that they're easily one of the most partial of all groups.
Here are some facts:
1. Wilder himself (not his promoter, or one of them) made an 'offer' on social media of $50M.
2. Hearn says "we're interested, let's see what you got."
3. They won't meet, talk or otherwise say anything about terms and conditions, and won't put anything on paper.
In this scenario, which party is acting like a pro and which party is just making ridiculous PR stunts?Comment
