Sounds like GGG is becoming a diva. Canelo took short money in his fights with Floyd and Cotto. I believe his purse vs Floyd was under $10M combined and that was one of the highest grossing ppv events in history, and he gave Cotto a 75% split despite being the A-side. These are the types of concessions you make in order to establish yourself as a ppv attraction. Yet Golovkin, who's highest grossing ppv prior to Canelo was 170k, is whining about being the B-side? Maybe he'd be happier in the role of A-side on basic cable.

Yes, they will support only fighters from the former Soviet Union. I don't understand the fixation undefeated fighters and then abandoning them when they lose one time. That is an immature kind of thing. Greatness arises from the ashes of defeat. A generation ago, Ali was more popular after his lost, as was Holyfield and other all-time greats because people appreciated their courage, as well as their skills.

Golovkin's own cowardice worked against him. Now he has to fight derev or gets stripped if he takes a canelo rematch. They should have fought derev who was more than willing. So if they take that fight to preserve the belt its basically a duck of canelo because they knowingly put themselves in that position. They did straight up and blatantly duck derev though. So if they do fight derev and try to act like an a side now I'm fine with that. If they take on Derev, Charlo and Blow Job Saunders instead then I'm all for that. We already saw a Canelo fight anyways. Canelo would have to take a solid step up fight in September if Grolovkin does this too.

Yes sir!!! Kovalov is one of my favorite fighters even with 2 loses. So what??? He lost to the P4P #1 and should be 1-1 IMO.

And I like Ward alot as well . I didnt care who won that fight because I was rooting for BOTH

GGG was told and warned by the IBF that we refuse to sanction Vanes who is not worthy of our belt and they stated clear logical reasons why. Coming off a loss, lost 2 of his last 3, coming off 2 years lay off, never fought at 160 and would have just 3 weeks to get in shape. They told him you could be stripped if you make this fight anyway. GGG could of fought his mandatory, found a better opponent that IBF would recognize, or simply moved the date and regrouped. Instead they wanted a BS easy fight and dragged a super welterweight off the couch because they wanted a no risk fight. They knew what the result would be from the IBF and made the fight anyway trying to continue holding his belt hostage. Coward is the only way to describe this.

What's even more comical is what Abel and Loeffler coach Lil'G to say. He's obviously influenced by their conversations or finds on his own for the fact that he changes character. We know LiL'G pretends to act naive, which is why for years we were wanting him to talk his native language in interviews to spot any bullshıt, which he ended doing anyways! rofl.

When Gennady talks Russian he is serious and formal. When he talks English he mocks American reporting and acts ******!! I love it! Lil'G!!
