Whatever propaganda you'll give to the people, they know Canelo lost the first fight clearly! GGG has nothing to prove. Watch Jordan commercial!

I watched the fight several times. It was a close fight and had it a draw the first time, then had Golovkin winning by a couple of points. But who won the fight was not the point. As I recall it was about who generates revenue or to put it in a negative light who the "cash cow" is and that is Alvarez. It is not propaganda that boxing is a niche sport in America. It is not propaganda that boxing is a popular sport in Mexico. It is not propaganda that GGG is not Mexican.

As to whether or not GGG has anything to prove, I don't think he does. He is an undefeated fighter, but seems to be a bit out of his mind these days and is clearly a drama queen. He is a petty and small-minded man now. I was a big GGG fan but lost respect for him a couple of years.

let me guess, you also have eternal undying respect for the WBA's junior/regular/interim (whatever they call it) junk..... you think that Derevyanchenko being too dangerous for Golovkin is a valid excuse for selecting Vanes, despite the fact that Derev is a 10-fight rookie who would have been taking that fight on short notice..... and you think that fighting for the WBO title in June following a 4+8 week camp is also unsufficient time to prepare for sweet-pea Saunders, and that is valid/acceptable justification to select Vanes

Ward would go to 160, but wouldn't for GGG, because he was scared. He also needed tune up fights first. And for it to be in Oakland.
Ward never fought anywhere else, because without his best friend as ref, he would get disqualified for headbutting.

Good posts as always! A lot of ppl think I hate GGG but it's the opposite. I hate his obnoxious fans and trainer's mouth. End of the day GGG is a current P4P Top 5 boxer.

I agree GGG's fans are over the top. I don't think they care at all about boxing or even understand it. They are obsessed with Golovkin not with the sport. Mexicans have their favorites and honor their heroes, but fundamentally they care more about the sport than any particular boxer. I don't see that in GGG's fans.

GGG's FAKE fans are already flocking to Lomachenko. Notice how they were HUGE Kovalov fans until Ward beat him twice??? Once GGG loses they're out! That Draw with Canelo has 50% of them shifting their NEW love to Loma....

If ANYONE cares about Boxing they would NOT support taking a guy out of retirement and UP in weight against a P4P Top 5 boxer... Mark my words. Vanes won't make it to round 5. Heck I think he's dropped in 2 unless GGG carries him.
