Floyd Mayweather vs. Ricky Hatton @ 140.

I would have liked to see Floyd fight Hatton after the Gatti fight. Who would have won?

And if Floyd won, would he be considered a top 10 ATG at 140?

Ricky has been my favorite fighter for a while, but he would never have beaten Floyd.

yeah, with Cortez in charge, Hatton might as well not even show up.

With Weeks in charge, I might give Hatton at least a fighting chance.

10 out of 10 times, Floyd beats him. Ricky Hatton just wasn't elite IMO.

At 140 he was a different fighter, he couldn’t beat Floyd but he’d have given him a good fight, would have been a very bruising hard nights work.

Hatton would have beaten clenello at 140 imo

Floyd toys with him and wins effortlessly.

As long as any ref didn’t allow Hatton to hold and hit, he was dead meat in the ring.

Bad style for Hatton. I disagree that he wasn't elite, but Hatton didn't have the skill set to beat Floyd

I think Mayweather would have easily won by KO. Mayweather is considered by most to be an all time great in all the weight classes he fought at except 154 which was too heavy for him. Many might consider him great even at 154. He is considered great by most at 140 because of the fights he had at 135 and 147. Common sense tells us if a boxer is great at 135 and at 147 then he is also great in the middle at 140 even if he didn't fight often at at 140. How could a boxer be great slightly below 140 and slightly above 140 and not be great at 140? Mayweather is already considered great by most at 140 without beating Hatton at 140. I doubt you will get any replies saying Mayweather would have lost to Hatton at 140.
