any calls for spence to move up in weight?

As long as he is comfortable at 147 I think he should stay there. It's always been a great weight class and the other top welterweights will probably fight him eventually. Meanwhile Spence stays busy KOing the best welterweights who will fight him. If he moves to 154 he might be just as avoided at that weight.Comment

Why would he move to a different weight division when he is the Champ? He has Porter, Garcia and Thurman as opposition.
He has Khan and Horn as secondary opponents and possibly
Crawford down the road.
This is about money not sportsmanship, get over it!

Its way too early to make comparisons to Golovkin. If three years from now Spence is still at 147 "waiting" for Thurman, Crawford, Danny and Porter then you'll have a point.
And what opponent of Ward's caliber is there to fight at 154 or 160? all of his potential career signature wins are at 147.
Spence expressed interest in going to 154 so now he opened himself up to get called out by Jarrett Hurd. If that callout takes place and Spence is still in limbo at 147 he's gonna have to jump up and take that fight or I'll be disappointed.
But this is the second defense of his title. Too early for all this. GGG was already 15+ defenses in when people were urging him to move up. Had Golovkin faced and beaten Ward he would've had his elusive career signature victory he has yet to achieve. But they tried to play Ward like a nobody so Andre moved on and beat Kovalev, eclipsing Golovkin's entire career in one night's work.Comment

this is why its hard for anyone to take lil g jizz guzzlers seriously ever at any pointHe get a slick bruva pass to make up fo' racesis ass AmeriKKKa!
Seriously though.. I don't think its got to that point yet. There are some good potential fights at 147.
On another note, the mw division is good now so there's no need for Golovkin to move up. 168 is a wasteland.
because NO one is really asking for lil g to move up now.....they were a couple of years ago when there were a few decent fights and he claimed he was being ducked and couldnt get fights
like no one is saying that today...we get that 160 is heating up..and 168 is kind of weak......but it remains to be seen if lil g will even stick around boxing to fight guys like saunders, charlo and jacobs/canelo again.....i highly doubt it
anyways...nobody can take you guys seriously...nobody cares if he moves up nowComment

how is it irrelevant? it doesnt make sense to you? wait, of course it doesnt...because it shoots down the argument
its like when this same guy was trying to defend golovkin by making a thread about ocampo, centeno and cuellar.......but not mentioning spence and charlo are 27 with davis being 23...yet lil is fighting a bum and hes 36Comment
