It sounds fair, rational, fact based and unbiased when read, but its not true. The truth is said person liked Cotto more so he is not using facts or equal standards to reach the conclusion, but biased personal choice rooted not in logic but fandom.

Unlike Cotto, I can argue. There's not argument for Cotto being a greater than fighter than Pacquiao. Cotto has 0 wins over Prime HOF's and Pacquiao has 3, head 2 head, Pacquiao had beaten him, Pacquiao went up 10 divisions winning 8 belts, Cotto went up 4, winning 4. It's that simple.

You can argue for Floyd and Manny on whose greater. Floyd has 0 wins over Prime HOF's and Manny has 3, Floyd went up 5 divisions his whole career and won 5 belts in each. Manny has went up 10 divisions in his whole career and won 8. Floyd beat Manny head 2 head, but Manny had achieved greater things than Mayweather by going up in more weight and fought and beat more Prime HOF's than he has.

Either you prefer Floyd's 50-0 5 weight class achievement or you favor Manny's 59-7-2 8 weight class achievement, it is a matter of preference. You talk about logic but you do not present your argument but rather fall backwards and talk about fandom, because most of the time it does fall to fandom.

It's all about preference for fans, but logic, arguments and evidence must be applied.

I've seen Floyd's career, I've seen Manny's career and I compared those two careers and have come to the conclusion that Manny is the best fighter of his generation.
