They are both subordinate to the elite establishment.

I only bring up Common Core as an example of a current issue in which the large foundations are involved. To prove you wrong yet again that this isn't "old stuff."

That is the sole point and there's nothing more to discuss, unless you can prove that the Carnegie Foundation is somehow NOT INVOLVED with Common Core?
But that's how it is broken down. **********s are for state rights. They say that Common Core is federal forced programme. Trump ran on a ********** platform. I don't see why you are making it seem sinister that he is against it.

You really can't stay focused, can you? Do you have attention deficit disorder by any chance?

I said nothing about it being sinister that Trump is against it.

These are the only points I was trying to make. I'll keep it simple for your tiny attention span:

(1)Common Core and their "new math" are pushed and funded by the Carnegie Foundation.
      (2) That is a current event not old stuff.
      (3)The End

But even the Carnegie angle isn't sinister. Common Core is trying to set a standard that can be measure nationwide. When different states have different standards, it hard to tell if everyone is equally proficient.

          Don't move the goalposts.

The Carnegie Foundation is involved in pushing a major educational change on the public, in the current day.

Not in the robber baron days. This isn't old stuff.

I want to hear you admit that much.

Red - because they believe it will benefit the nation.
So everything rich folks put their money behind is sinister?
That's why you always see something sinister because you are looking for it.

            What's sinister about Common Core?

Ok. Sure. If you say so.

But do you admit that this is an example of a large foundation still actively wielding power in the present, that this isn't old stuff?

                Wielding power?

Which large firms or co-operatives do you know that don't do lobbying?

One of the Carnegie Foundation's mandate is on education. Why do you think they wouldn't be passionate about lobbying when it comes to education?

Stop seeing sinister stuff in philanthropic works.

                Italics- Nice alliteration, right?

So you have gone from "this is old stuff from the robber baron days!" to "what large firms and co-operatives don't do lobbying?"

I think that's pretty much a win for me. Even if you refuse to admit it.

                  Yes, nice alliteration doe.

So any form of lobbying has something sinister to it?

No. What you have been saying is that a small group of folks have controlled us and are doing bad stuff to us.

You haven't proved an ounce of that.

We winning and losing here? I thought we were out to get to the truth?
