breazeale avoided the higher ranked whyte and fought 12th ranked molina to get a shot. thats what we are talking about. you seem to ignore that part with no self awareness of what you are even sayingComment

so you think he should be taken advantage of and avoided so breazele can get a shot? this argument makes no sense. you don't let someone cheat you. bottom line. he already said he would fight ortiz if it guarantees him a shot but seeing as breazele just jumped him by fighting molina he has a solid complaint and should be asking what is going on hereLast edited by daggum; 05-03-2018, 09:17 AM.Comment

That seems his best route, if he beats pulev, it's a win win for him.He should just go through the IBF route. He gets a shot as a mandatory if he beats Pulev, he wouldn't be a secondary mandatory like he would be with the WBC. The only thing that would stop him getting his shot if he beats Pulev, would be if the AJ/Wilder fight gets made. And still he would have to fight who ever wins that belt.
A title shot and a good pay day.Comment

Whyte at the time was not available to fight , Molina was next in line.the problem is when stirverne dropped out whyte was willing to fight breazele and instead he fought bum molina. why should he get a shot simply for fighting anyone? the rankings dont matter anymore if your opponent drops out you can just substitute him with a bum and its the same thing?
There was no choice of fight this or that guy .
Why would Breazeale fight Whyte anyway if he can get a title shot which he has now , that would have been ****** .Comment

No fighter gets good pay fighting wilder, only AJ can at the moment. Whyte should just take the IBF route and safe himself all the wbc politics stress.Comment

A lot of them are making themselves looks ******.Comment

uh no thats not what happened at all. he was available, made breazele an offer and instead breazele signed to fight molina. molina was not next in line. he was ranked 12th. whyte 3rd at the time. breazele 6th. 6th vs 12th for atitle shot knowing 6 avoided 3? makes no sense.
Eddie Hearn presented him with an alternative: a fight with Dillian Whyte on the October 28th undercard of Anthony Joshua vs. Kubrat Pulev. Breazeale says he’s down and Hearn claims that “negotiations are already underway.”
guess he wasn't down cause he knew he could get a shot fighting anyone for some reason.
yes exactly my point. why should he fight someone good if he knows he doesn't have to. thats the whole point. the wbc is corrupt and gave him a shot for fighting the number 12 guy and clearly avoiding someone higher ranked who wanted to fight.Last edited by daggum; 05-03-2018, 09:26 AM.Comment

But why would he go the WBC route when it only leads to second mandatory status? He'd have to wait for Wilder Breazeale and then another year before there's even a chance of it being enforced?
The IBF route looks a much quicker path to a title challenge and the purse would be far greater also. Given the way the WBC has behaved he'd be better off going the IBF route.Comment

Maybe he fancies his chances more against Wilder and it would lead to a bigger payday against Joshua?
There's definite corruption going on here. There's no reason to have Breazeale as mandatory over Whyte.Comment
