I don't know why this guy reminds me of Fransisco Bojado. All hype no substance. Very short lived career that was.

i dont understand all this bum talk, the guy is under twenty and has only 15 fights and people call him a bum? nobody is saying hes a pound for pound fighter, nobody hes just a highly regarded prospect.. people right away label guys as bums

Age is not a factor in projecting ceiling, unless he is old of course. Like Verdejo, he is a bum. I say Verdejo because Garcia is Verdejo 2.0.

That would be impressive. Velez hasn't been stopped. Been the distance with a couple good prospects iirc.
I think this one is gonna go a few rounds. And it'll be more interesting how Garcia deals with things in the 6th round & on more than it'll be interesting to see if Velez lasts that long. Or thats how I feel anyway. I gotta pick Ryan here, but this has upset potential written all over it & even if its not an upset I could see Ryan having some trying make or break moments in this one that could show us the areas he's most lacking in & needs to work on in the coming years as he progresses.
Looking forward to this one.
