Hopkins is a complete boss. Prime Hopkins would destroy GGG.

Hopkins went out like a boss too. That guy truly had an indestructible chin. Never KO'd in his entire career.

In his final fight at 50+ he took 2 massive shots to the head, fell out of ring 5+ feet and landed on his head that had just been pummeled......... Then proceeds to get up and mention that his ankle hurts...his fricking ankle. GOAT level chin on Hopkins. No one else could fall on their head like that then start talking about their ankle.

Despite his accomplishments, Hopkins was painful to watch, ala Wladimir. I'd rather watch GGG crushing second tier middleweights any day than a Hopkins fight.

Hopkins fought a ton of bums during those undefeated years.

Hopkins's accomplishments in the ring are among the greatest in boxing history and GGG has not surpassed him.
I pretty well agree...but honestly, if ggg did what Hopkins did with the same resume, he'd still get trashed on here. I'm strictly talking about their runs at mw. Bunch of revisionist historians on here making out like the contenders of Hopkins era were so much better than the guys now. When that **** was going down, nobody was making a big deal about Hopkins...his stock took off when hbo started hyping him, similar to ggg.

I agree and remember this well. He was getting criticized for some of the competition as well. Personally, I never paid any attention to Hopkins fights back then.

Hopkins is my favourite fighter all time

I’m a Golovkin fan also But B-hops MW run trumps GGg because of the Tito win alone

Take that away and his reign isnt overly impressive except how long it was. His second best name Oscar was a shell of himself in a division he didn’t belong in. The rest of it there is only a couple notable names

The MW defence record isn’t what made B-hop great it was what he accomplished after it and always going after the best fighters available even at a size and age disadvantage

If boxing was judged fairly B-hop would have been undeafted from The time he lost to Jones in 93 to 2012 when he lost to Dawson

It's called deflection, and he got KTFO.
