thats what i've been saying for a long time now. he over reacts to the HBO fighter and then doesn't give any crdeit to the opponent. whenever the opponent does something he talks stats or asks manny or some one a question about something.

he calls miss shots as if they were the biggest punch of the night. it's all smoke and mirrors to persuede the general fan into thinking that their fighter is winning.

there were a bunch of missed calls in the hopkins-taylor fights and the hopkins-tarver fight.

as well as the taylor-wright fight.


ooh and i like the fact that during the hopkins-tarver fight they were trying to say that they didn't think tarvers glove touched and that they didn't have any footage of his glove touching. thats a crock of **** because i saw his glove touch and i was watching HBO! how the hell are the going to say they didn't have an angle on that!?! because they didn't want to show or give Hopkins credit, because they've had beef with Hopkins for a long while now.

they're becoming boxing ****'s. it's either you're with them or you aint ****. HBO is going to favor their fighter to the fullest and have no problem looking or sounding like the most biased *******s ever!

the list goes on and on how the HBO crew is biased and is trying their hardest to make people see what they want them to see.

it's funny too, because they get people following what they say like sheep, and seeing the BULL**** that they spit out.

i like it when people who don't even know WTF about boxing get their boxing knowledge from the HBO crew and spit it out like it was from god himself. then regergitate it like it boxing fact, trying to play it off as what is real and how it is..................disgusting but true, also sad but yet funny................

Lampley is got to be the most biased commentator in boxing. I was going for Taylor to win but was surprised to hear lampley call blocked shots like it was a prelude to a knockout. He is the same way with other fighters like Morales, Mayweather, Gatti. Not to say they aren't great but he should give credit were is due. I also notice him going into story telling mode when the other fighter is doing good he ignores them. I hate Lampley.

I lost a huge amount of respect for Lampley and the entire HBO boxing staff after this fight. When Taylor would land a shot against Wright's gloves or shoulder Lampley would almost hop out of his ****ing deat yelling "AND ANOTHER SHOT FOR TAYLOR!!!" or "AND TAYLOR CONNECTS AGAIN!". It was a ****ing disgrace, anybody with halfway decent vision could see he wasn't connecting.

For christ's sake my girlfriend actually watched a couple rounds with me and even she goes "he's blocking those punches".

HBO is so biased and slanted towards Taylor at times it's ****ing pathetic.

I'll say it before and I'll say it again - I thought Lamps did a fine job. Sure he's a Taylor fan, but he gave props to Winky when he was landing his shots while Taylor sat on the ropes. Plus, Lamps has a great way of yelling without getting hysterical that really gets you in the mood of "being there". I think Lamps is one of the best announcers in the biz, as long as you take some of the HBO hyperbole with a grain of salt (and salt seems to be in short supply here ).

And I'll say this again too, Taylor hits hard - much harder than Winky, so hard than even the blocked shots hurt Winky. Even though Winky landed cleaner shots, there is no way you can say his blows inflicted more damage than Taylor's in that fight. No way.
