I'll say it before and I'll say it again - I thought Lamps did a fine job. Sure he's a Taylor fan, but he gave props to Winky when he was landing his shots while Taylor sat on the ropes. Plus, Lamps has a great way of yelling without getting hysterical that really gets you in the mood of "being there". I think Lamps is one of the best announcers in the biz, as long as you take some of the HBO hyperbole with a grain of salt (and salt seems to be in short supply here ).

And I'll say this again too, Taylor hits hard - much harder than Winky, so hard than even the blocked shots hurt Winky. Even though Winky landed cleaner shots, there is no way you can say his blows inflicted more damage than Taylor's in that fight. No way.

Props is not enough. Winky is the #2 lb for lb fighter in the world and has been around the block much longer than Taylor. Yet all I heard is about Taylor being this and that. Honestly Lampley was on Taylor's nuts that night. Just like he is on Gatti's nuts and Morales' nuts.
