I rarely get up to it any more, but yeah, East coast fights are usually around 3 or 4 of the a.m and West Coast fights tend to have the sun peeping through the curtains by the time they're done.
Back in 2012 when I returned to the sport big time I was suffering badly from insomnia and rarely getting more than a coupla hours sleep a night anyway, so it wasn't a problem but these days it's a different matter. New family, new baby, finally getting decent sleep - if baby Koba allows - and besides I train usually about 2.5 hours Sunday morning so staying up til ****** O'Clock just ain't an option unless it was an unmissable fight.
But yeah. You'll find the UK and European guys who stay up for the US fights are the real die-hards, and whether or not you agree with their opinions it's hard to question their dedication to the sport. I sometimes wonder how many of the US based fans would still be watching if they had to stay up all night to get their fix.
