Question for UK boxing fans (not Joshua related)

Does it get old having to watch fights in the middle of the night when they take place in America? What time are they usually on there?

I live in America so when a big fight happens in the UK I just tune in around 4 or 5pm and watch it.

Honestly never. I'm too adapted to staying up every Saturday night until 6 AM for USA fights. If there's no fight at 2 AM every weekend, it's a **** weekend.

I need at least one card on at that time. In the winter it's a quick nap then up but at this time of the year, especially with the night being so young, it's a staying up job every weekend.

And I love it. It's one thing I wouldn't change

All they need do is tape the fight and watch it when it suits them. No problem.

The main events normally start about 4:00 and no not really as I love staying up and watching the fight with nothing on but my boxers smoking some Cohiba's.

My daughter stays at her mother's on a Saturday night for this reason. It's not too bad to just sleep between say 6am and 11am on a Sunday, then be in bed by about 9pm on Sunday night.

Mostly these days that's what I do. It makes for a nice Sunday morning and means I get to skip through any commercials or talk I don't want to see.

For a big fight where there could be a good crowd however it's not the same. I'd selfishly prefer AJ Wilder to be in uk because it will be great atmosphere in pubs etc if it's held at uk prime time.

It's annoying having no-one to watch the fight with when it's at 4am on a Sunday morning. Sometimes other people are up for watching but only for the bigger fights, and yeah, it ****s up your sleeping pattern

Also, if there's good boxing on at normal UK-time, and in Las Vegas, and in New York, then you're talking a stretch of several hours of boxing. Not necessarily a bad thing!!! But after 6 hrs of watching boxing, you just feel a bit like, 'What am I doing with my life?' haha

I used to do it all the time when I was younger. Yes it can be annoying, especially if its a **** fight. For every Pac vs Marquez IV, there was a May vs Pac that made you feel like you had wasted your time.

Nowadays i'm more likely to go bed early and get up early to watch than I am to stay up
