I totally get it. But it doesnt bother some people for some fighters they dont like to have to do it at their request. Im just pointing out a double standard. I like Spence. His abilty says to me he is the best at 147. I want to see him fight these guys to prove it. I know the potential opponents see the risk involved and dont want to see him across the ring. Do I really think he needs to move up? No. Im just poking fun at the guys who have for 3 years asked another fighter to move up out of his comfort zone because he was being avoided by the champs in bis division.

lol its too early to make comparisons with Lil g. If 3 years from now Spence is still at 147 waiting around for Thurman, Crawford, Porter and Garcia then... and only then do you have a point. Now... naw too early. And I HIGHLY doubt Crawford will duck him so that's a mega fight I'm certain takes place so Spence is right where he belongs.

And people were urging Lil g to move up because there was a BIG fight waiting for him in Andre Ward. A fight in which, had he won, would've given him his career defining victory and silence all doubters. What fight is there for Spence at 154 that's bigger than a potential showdown with Thurman or Crawford?

Fighting Brook in his hometown with the high probability of getting robbed wasn't a test? .. if that wasn't a test nothing is. Kell Brook was still recognized as the best welterweight. Spence made him take a knee and took his eye. He's very tested and war ready.
