Although the 9th was close and probably could have gone either way.

What a bunch of *******. It's pretty pathetic to hear any of you bitching about Winky getting 'screwed' and this and that.

Get the **** over it. Seriously. It's the same damn people who cried about the Hopkins fights.

They think their way of scoring is the only way is the problem.

Understand this, people...it's very simple. It's up to the judge whether or not to give more credence to power, or to volume. Winky was absolutely NOT blocking all of Taylor's shots. Winky was getting hit plenty enough. However, Winky landed more...and the compubox numbers reflect that. But the compubox numbers we well as my own eyes do not reflect that Wright blocked 90% of Taylor's shots like some of you have convinced yourselves.

The fight was close, and like I said...it's up to the viewer what to give more credit for...volume vs power. In many rounds it was hard to decide which to give more credence. In any case, just because YOU scored more for volume, does not mean other people have to or should.

taylor doesn't owe winky ****! let winky go to europe and get beat by calzaghe, or finally take on kassim ouma a man he ducked at 154. with all of winkys bs comments im glad team taylor said in the confrence that if winky don't want a rematch they are fine with that and they will move on, they owe nothing to winky.

Okay..just pulled out my notes where I scored the fight:

Round 1: lots of jabbing and missing...Taylor lands more to the body and a few rights to the head...Round Taylor 10-9

Round 2: Winky begins pressuring Jermain into corners, flicking and landing the jab and the occasional left. Taylor lands a few punches; but Winky lands more.. Round Wright 10-9

Round 3: Jermain's having trouble with Winky's defense. He missed a hook and Winky made him pay. Wink did more effective work............................Round Wright 10-9

Round 4: Back and forth action all round. Body work by both men, good work by Wright and Taylor in the corner. Jermain might have been stunned; but fought back well....................................Round Even 10-10

Round 5: Tough fight. Winky comes back to reassert control and continually forces Taylor into corners. Taylor appears to be trying to time Wright with not much success. Winky really dictating the pace.........Round Wright 10-9

Round 6: Winky's busy; but Jermain's beinning to time him well, catching Winky beautifully on the way in...lands several good solid shots................ Round Taylor 10-9

Round 7: Taylor starts off strong, moving Winky with his punches, even though they hit the guard most of the time; but Winky gradually works his way back into the round, winning the better part of the last two minutes.....Round Wright

Round 8: Winky controls the action for the most part of the round with the exception of a few flurries here and there. Jermain's waiting too long..............Round Wright

Round 9: Best round of the fight for Wnky as he controlled the pace. JT fought in spurts; but appeared hurt at one point...............................Round Wright 10-9

Round 10: Back and forth action as Taylor is determined to not let Winky dominate and countered every Wright salvo with one of his own..........................Round Taylor 10-9

Round 11: Winky came out to take back control...and did. Taylor appears tired. Winky's landing, Taylor's only firing occasionally and most of his punches are blocked................................Round Wright 10-9

Round 12: Winky wants it and comes out strong...very aggressive for him. Taylor's back keeps touching the ropes and the corners...he's very inactive. Dead tired? His eye appears completely closed at this point. Teacher vs student again................................ Round Wright 10-9

I'm going to compare these notes to the fight when I watch it again. Can't believe the difference of opinion on this one.

                Yeah.
I dont think Taylor was hurt at any point.
And i dont remember Wright coming on strong in the 12th.
I thought Round 9 was VERY close, with Jermain edging on his power shots and he worked to the body pretty well i remember.

I also think that alot of Taylor's shots were only partially blocked, this they dont count as scoring punches, put in essense, they should.
                  The compubox numbers are flawed.

Wright started off the 12 aggressively; but then lightend up the last minute or so is what I remember.

I lost a lot of respect for winky wright as a person. I felt he eked it out by a point or 2 but it was a very close fight. he's totally direspecting taylor with his words. if he's so angry and upset he should be demanding a rematch. get some class winky and try to get revenge by using your fists instead of your mouth!
