Yes. I can honestly say idgaf for nationality, colour or any of that.

If anything I'm probably more likely to root against 'my own' as i find vast majority of them as insufferable as anyone.

Sometimes I root against the American. I usually regret it, though.

Then golemovkin should've fought him since he had actually been in training.

Yes because I’m a fan of the sport, and not some tribal idiot rooting for country/race/heritage

I root for the boxer I like the best. It makes no difference to me where he is from. I live in New mexico near Albuquerque about 200 miles from Austin Trout who I like. I liked Canelo more so I rooted for Canelo to beat Trout. I have no particular loyalty to boxers from my state or my country. If AJ and Wilder ever fight I'll be rooting for AJ. Wilder is too noisy for me.

All other things being equal I'll support the guy from my home country, but it's rare that things are so equal, if the guy from my country is a douche or has the personality of a bucket of wallpaper paste and the other guy is an underdog or is more exciting or likable I'll support him instead. There are a few British fighters who I'll consistently get behind, like the McDonnels or Crolla, but so many of the rest are so arrogant or boring that I often find myself rooting against them. I made no bones about the fact that I was hoping for an upset by Lo Greco vs. Khan a little while ago and Hearn has been so aggravating that if the Wilder - Joshua fight gets made I'll probably root for Wilder.

it would be the exception, and not the rule, for sure ... but I define what is "my own"

I still generally dislike any tall lefty fighters because the one I trained with always ran from me instead of getting a good sparring session in

                    Who likes Mundine anyway?

Only when the fighter is utter scum. Today that includes PED boys tyson and hughie fury, and the embarassing eubanks jr. I will support anyone over them three.
