BJS is only just beginning to become a name in the UK. Up till the begining of this year. Not being with Matchroom and getting continually plugged by Sky Sports, taking a long break, then coming back against an opponent who nobody over here ever heard of, and looking like shit, set him back a lot.

Up till around the begining of this year, if you asked the average UK casual fan about BJS, the reply would be something along the lines of:

"Saunders? Yeah, he's the guy who beat Chris Eubank Jnr, isn't he? What's he been doing since then?"

BJS vs Jacobs, in the UK, might catch the attention of the casuals and do very well. Then again, it might not. The feud between Hearn and Warren is another big stumbling block.

Outside of boxing fans, and people who watch IFL tv no-one knows who BJS is in the U.K, that’s his problem.

And that’s what Hearn was referring to, just like how he priced himself out back in 2016 when he was offered (a then) record payday to fight Golovkin, he’ll do the same with Jacobs even though he has a great chance of winning that fight.

but if Saunders wants 4mil for Golovkin, then why does he need 5mil for Jacobs?

No they don’t, you don’t know what your talking about, take it from a guy who lives in the UK, BJS regularly fights at the copper box arena in London which holds around 8000 and guess what? He can’t fill it, like ever.

He’s never been in a uk ppv show, but yet you think the North American casuals will know who he is just because he’s fought on one HBO show, it doesn’t work like that I’m afraid, BJS is a super talented guy but no one knows who he is unfortunately.
