that was an unsubstantiated rumor that has since been proven incorrect

he was offered 1.5mil

he laughed at that offer, JUST LIKE JACOBS DID when Team Bullshht made the same offer to him

you have to actually pay good opponents

I remember debating this with you before, multiple media sources at the time including Saunders promoter Frank Warren said at the time it was much higher than the 1.5million dollar BS Saunders told Kugan Cassius to save face.

There’s also multiple vids on IFLtv where he says he wanted to wait for Golovkin to get past 34, which is fair enough imho just don’t say it publicly lol.

You’ve got to remember back then he was a lazy ass who was trying to milk his belt, and had no apparent interest in fighting any of the names, it’s only in the last year I’d say since he switched trainers and starting living the life seriously that he’s shown interest in fighting Golovkin, jacobs etc.

It’s a real shame imo, if he was Eddie Hearn he’d be making much more money and he’d probably have been able to get him the bigger fights...he’s too loyal to Warren for his own good.

Saunders is partly to blame though as I said in my other response, he had bad habits until recently, like ballooning up in weight between fights, fighting like once a year and also injuries made him unlucky too.

the 1.5mil low-ball offer from Golovkin, Saunders signing to fight Golovkin in Kazakhstan, and Saunders offering to fight Golovkin in June..... ALL came after he made that silly comment

are you trying to tell me that silly comment from Saunders is why Golovkin could have made that fight happen on three separate occasions, but did not?

No they don’t, you don’t know what your talking about, take it from a guy who lives in the UK, BJS regularly fights at the copper box arena in London which holds around 8000 and guess what? He can’t fill it, like ever.

He’s never been in a uk ppv show, but yet you think the North American casuals will know who he is just because he’s fought on one HBO show, it doesn’t work like that I’m afraid, BJS is a super talented guy but no one knows who he is unfortunately.

Basically there isn't enough more for this fight to happen in the UK or the USA. So it looked like Hearn is currently overpaying Jacobs.

Jacobs even embraced the thought of challenging England's Saunders for his WBO middleweight title in the United Kingdom during a post-fight press conference early Sunday morning at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Andrade and Jacobs are 1 and 2 in the WBO rankings, they could force an eliminator there, which would probably be enforced by the end of the year... then Warren and Hearn bidding war.

There's a clear path to the WBO if Jacobs really wants it.

The best money fights for Sauders are canelo (in the U.S.), Golovkin (in the UK)... In case these two will fight each other in September, Sauders may take Andrade or Jacobs in the UK...
