  • I am a fan of GGG, and I'm not going to comment on who's reign was more impressive. Honestly both resumes aren't stellar. I will say that GGG would have had a long night fighting Hopkins in his prime. A truly great fighter who could adapt to his opponent. He could fight inside, outside, box or slug. Not to mention he was tricky and knew every trick in the book.

I’m talking about defenses at mw.

Jacobs is vastly better than any of Hopkins defenses, except Tito.

Yeah, he would have beaten both on his first try and not needed the extra 3 matches.

He also wouldn’t have quit and looked for a way out in the first Allen fight

William Joppy was an *undefeated* beltholder @ 160 when Trinidad train-wrecked him.

How many *undefeated* beltholders @ 160 has the Triple Duck beaten?

unbelievable. nevermind repeating it, explain WHY you are sticking by such a terrible asrgument.
Baldomir was a p4p! That's all that matters, it doesn't matter when they fought, just as long as the person was p4p at some time.

                LMAO

Baldomir is a career WELTERWEIGHT and anyone who thinks he should have been on a P4P list DKSAB...

Geale won against Daniel Dawson who was 29-0 at the time.

Gardner had a competitive fight with Chad Dawson, despite being a late call-in. The guy who defeated GJ and Tarver.

                • I think it's poor form to compare to Hopkins, because you would have to ignore everything that Hopkins did after middleweight, which was absolutely unprecedented.

                    • both boxing records are very similar but the only difference is that Hopkins moved up in weight to challenge bigger guys and that is something I don't see GGG doing anytime soon. Actually GGG is on the decline already.
