      1. If you are strictly talking about 160, ggg has fought more quanity of quality opponents.

2.hopkins is the better fighter, but if just going by 160, ggg has defended better.

      3. Hopkins lost to a top mw in Roy Jones, then beat up a bunch of cringe contenders for the rest of the 90s

4.glen johnson wasn’t the fighter you all think of when he fought Hopkins. Young glen johnson was a counterpuncher that tried to be slick. It was until Hopkins carved him up and glen started fighting the euro champs that he changed his style into the rugged road warrior everyone knows. Good win by Hopkins, but glen was not good as a counterpuncher, and it wasn’t until a complete change of style when glen achieved any real success.

5.hopkins best win was Tito, golovkin’s is Jacobs or draw with canelo. Tito >>> Jacobs or canelo

      6. Allen, Echols, Eastman, Holmes, old joppy, Carl Daniels, aren’t as good as geale, Murray, macklin, kell, lemuix overall, especially considering when in their careers they fought

      7. Most of hopkins best moments came above 160

      8. 160- Canelo, Jacobs, Murray, geale, lemuiex, macklin > Tito, Holmes, Echols, joppy, Allen, johnson

GREAT post..... but I completely disagree bro

      your #5 point..... /thread

Hopkins has a better win than Golovkin at 160

      it only takes one

multiple (even numerous) lesser "good" wins, do not eclipse that one "very good" win..... quality > quantity when it comes to resume comparisons

Hopkins showed a higher ceiling..... as-in..... he " proved " that he had a higher ceiling

Tito was a huge favorite, and proven at 160

Brook..... was not, nobody gave him a chance

Tito = great..... Brook = not so much

typical ridiculous statement/comparison, from the golov-fans lol

              but wow, that is interesting

so..... Canelo won 5 rounds on EVERY single card ???

out of 15 possible scores for those 5 rounds, all 15 went to Canelo

it changes nothing of course, because I watched that fight..... but, interesting

a draw, was not out of the question at all

It could have gone either way time but I’m not into a rematch there are better fights out there right now and ggg needs to take action now we’ll after his bs fight on Saturday

like I said yesterday, when this thread (and the poll) first started...

Hopkins best win is Trinidad..... Golovkin's best win is Jacobs

                  /thread

silly discussion..... that was a real dumb thing to say Gennady lol

Are you going by biggest win or body of work.

Biggest win and buster Douglas and rid**** bowe are greater than Holyfield
Body of work and it’s all Holyfield.

Hopkins has maybe the single biggest win, but ggg has more depth of opponents and especially in terms of wins.

The 2 best middleweights hopkins fought, he lost to, everyone else wasn’t no very good besides Tito.
