Alvarez isn't on Trinidad's level. Not even close. Trinidad has a better resume than Alvarez @ BOTH 154 and 160.

I would also argue that Hopkins *dominating* Joppy and Keith Holmes are better wins than the gift decision Bumlovkin got over Jacobs...

What real MW did Hopkins beat (or draw with) who was so astoundingly good?
Hopkins' W over Glen Johsnon - in all truthfulness - defecates and urinates on the WHOLE of Bumlovkin's resume. The Road Warrior moved up to LHW and beat the best guy there. Hopkins remains the ONLY man to hold a stoppage win over him...

              GJ holds a W over Antonio Tarver @ 175.

              Exactly WHO has Bumlovkin beaten?

I would to! Listen I like Jacob's but he just went do or die with a guy who fights a lot at 154. And let's not forget pillow fisted Mora put him on his ass....

I count 4 Hall of Famers on his list as well as 1-2 more that will be there.

And I also remember 5-6 other ones not being inducted but were honorable mentions they just didnt get the votes.

I don't see even 1 that will even be in the list. 37 years old and beat a single guy he beat you can say will be in the hall of fame.

Vanes is a BUM at MW. If you think he will make it to round 7 put your account up or some $$$....

                  • Although I believe Hopkins fought better opposition his entire career, GGG’s argument is specifically during both of their 20 year title reigns. But of course a lot of idiots & morons here can’t stay on topic as usual. I was about to make the argument for Hopkins but when you look at the 20 opponents he faced, I only see (2) blown up welterweights Trinidad & De La Hoya, and A marginally good Glen Johnson. Simon Brown over the hill and another blown up welterweight. And 5 of his defenses were against average middleweights that he fought multiple times, Robert Allen & Echols, who the f....are they? And I don’t consider Joppy, Holmes, Eastman, & Daniels grade A middleweight contenders regardless of their records at the time. GGG on the other hand has fought Alvarez, Jacobs, Lemieux, and (1) blown up welterweight, Kell Brook, much better opposition than anyone on Hopkins resume. And I’m talking about “true full blown middleweights.” And he didn’t double down on certain opponents multiple times with any of his 20 defenses like Hopkins did. Here is the real test. If Hopkins couldn’t beat Jermain Taylor twice, could he have beaten Jacobs or Alvarez or at least fight to a draw with either. And I love Bernard Hopkins!

                    • Kovalov would MURDER Jacob's. But Hopkins fought him.

GGG is a fraud. He ain't gonna get in the hall of fame. They're gonna laugh his resume all the way to the ticket booth for him to BUY a ticket.
