I think that Jacobs was trying to prove a point with Sulecki, following the unimpressive Arias fight.....
he was likely thinking that Sulecki could struggle with a BIG, genuine, middleweight..... but Sulecki proved tough and competitive
Jacobs knew that Sulecki couldn't hurt him, so he switched it up
Jacobs could have shut him out with a tighter/more focused gameplan
