You sure it wasn't Shannon Briggs who beat the guys up and Teddy imagined it was him?

So why did Teddy need a gun vs. a young/teenage Mike Tyson?
Because its Mike ****ing Tyson, thats why.

OK everybody, SquareCircle posted an excerpt from Teddy Atlas's book.
Im sure its based on fact, but it may be embellished a little.

Always wondered about D'amato's company. They say Cus wasn't all there either, funny ****.

that story was from Atlas' biography. it's a good read if you haven't picked it up yet, i liked it a lot becuase a lot of the stuff that went down at the time was kind of hush, at least for me i was a kid, but now reading all that went down in detail about tyson and boxing in general during the early 80's, it's cool to know what exactly happend, you know atlas isn't one to make **** up, so a lot of it is scary accurate.

yes, of course, but my point was it seems Teddy is facing King Kong and Godzilla in every fight it seems, but when it comes to a teenage kid, Teddy needs Smith&Weston as back up

And for Teddy's book, I will be picking up a copy before the years end.

I like Teddy Atlas. I can't find anywhere that sells his book though. I'm going to try Tower Records.
