    More Taylor thought

Whether you thought Taylor won the fight or not, were you impressed by his performance?I know that is was another close or controversial decision. But it was against the #1 P4P and #2 P4P in the world. And two all time great defensive boxers.Do you atleast give him credit for hanging in there with them?I know that Taylor still has his flaws, but lets take a look at the positives.

-Gave Hopkins and Winky trouble(regardless of who you thought won).
-Did better against the aforementioned two than established superstars such as Trinidad,De La Hoya,Mosley,ETC.(Yes,I know he is a natural MW).
-Showed much improvement in the Wright fight.Seemed more relaxed fighting the big boys.
-Was able to penetrate Winky's excellent defense several times. And yes a lot of those punches broke through his defense with pure power.Im not saying that plenty weren't blocked either though.
-To sum it up,I don't think Winky got robbed by any means. It's just a matter of personal perference on how you score a fight.

i thought it was a good performance overall but i would of liked to see taylor use his size more and go forward instead of backing up and going to the ropes.

Yeah,I don't know why he didn't stay in the center of the ring.He was winning there.

        Yes I was impressed.

I always figured Taylor as an overhyped athlete who was going to get punked out bad by Wright, obviously I was wrong.

Yes Taylor looked like a much calmer more experienced fighter than he ever has. Both fighters perfomed well and it was far from a Winky borfest like alot of people thought it may be.......with all that said I accept the draw but really feel Winky beat Taylor more than Taylor beat Hopkins in either of their fights.

A true champion should leave no doubts. Taylor hasn't done that yet as a champion. I'm not saying he won't, just that he hasn't yet.

Hopkins and Wright have been doing that for a long time.

I need to see more from Taylor...

He looked better than with the Hopkins fight, I thought he might run out of gas like he did on the first Hopkins fight, but he didn't. He unloaded on Wright, although most punches were blocked. I thought he was much stronger than Wright and should of tried to get Wright in the corner and go for the KO. He doesn't look overly impressive, but that probably due to the opposition he's facing.

I'm still amazed that a fighter as inexperienced as Taylor was able to beat Hopkins twice and get a draw with Wright.

That's why I was skeptical as hell.

I think it's safe to say he's the real deal now.
