He's only had that belt for a year. Give him some time before asking him to move up. Plus the other PBC guys will be forced to fight him after a while. Haymon isn't going to protect Garcia, Porter and Thurman forever. At worst he's just milking them to build up the fight for net year.

The opposition isn't great, but Peterson is a hell of a lot better than Martisoryan.

Yea man, right? I for one and getting off the Spence hype train. Turned pro late, brought him up super slow, now he's in the mainstream and it's back to scrubs.

Spence is really good, but he won't be getting any better than he is now (due to his age) which is a shame because he has great ability.
