Fair enough Eddie’s first offer was low-ball but everyone with half a brain knew it would be. (Wilder fans took it as a duck, but they would, wouldn’t they?) It was a starting point for negotiations from Hearn, nothing more. Same tactics as used in the Parker negotiations. Regardless there was nothing coming back from Wilder’s team.

Then the ridiculous 50m ‘counter offer’ comes through social media with an even more ridiculous 24-hour deadline, and zero information on the fight. And again, no ability to meet and negotiate. Despite Hearn trying desperately to do so.

Wilder fans have been all “just accept the offer and then discuss terms!” but unless I’m mistaken haven’t Joshua and Hearn done this several times? “Let’s roll”
    “We’re interested”
It’s pretty clear they are willing to talk and thrash this out and make a deal, but I don’t see how anyone can defend Wilder and his team when they are so reluctant to meet and actually make it happen? Everything on social media is just PR bull****, is this not totally obvious? The fights get made in boardrooms.

But somehow, according to Wilder fans, throwing a 50m offer out over social media with zero terms, no guarantee of the cash, and a 24 hour deadline is reasonable, whereas trying to actually meet and talk in order to get the fight agreed is unreasonable?

So, now it seems Hearn is trying once again. Whatever the offer ends up being, I see the issue again being Wilder’s team’s reluctance to actually meet and sort it out like real human beings. They’ll respond through the media without talking to Hearn and blame it all on Hearn.
Dance a**hole dance.. first of all 50 million is what AJ asked for.. to take the fight tomorrow, wilder did not ask for 12.5.. he asked for 50 percent.. so ask youself who is trying to meet who's demands? Secondly, you are not a promoter so don't try to make it seem like you knew this was a lowball tactic from hearn.. when all of your peers is saying 12.5 is 300% wilders purse.. he should take it if he wants the fight.. he ducking.. now your saying.. we knew this was a lowball tactic.. d*mn.. hearn is a snake headed sob.. apparently the majority of his fans are too.. smh at the entire U.K for this rubbishry.

Wilder HIMSELF has said Duhaupas was the toughest guy hes fought so far .

“That’s easy – I’ve gotta give it to a Frenchman by the name of Johann Duhaupas,” Wilder explained.

“He was the toughest. We went, I think, 11 rounds and he was taking everything. I remember in the fight, I was like ‘damn, this motherf***taking everything, he’s taking all these punches."D. Wilder

Miller just went 12rnds and didnt ever have trouble ( look at Wilders face after he fought Duhaupas ) .

Not only will Joshua continue to build on his legacy ( he actually has one ) with top guys he will do so while Wilder fights guys Joshua has ALREADY defeated .

At the end of the day ,Wilders fans should just shut up bc should the Breazeale fight take place it will be the SAME guy they called a slow fat punching bag with no skill ........

Who Joshua ALREADY defeated in his 17th fight !

If Wilder fighting guys AJ already defeated is so bad and comical why is the AJ brigade so eager to see him fight Whyte? what do Brezeale and Whyte have in common? both are AJ victims correct? so what separates them in terms of levels? ... They're on the same tier.

Brezeale is a plan b just like Povetkin/Miller is a plan b for AJ. but what any real fan wants is AJ vs Wilder NOW and let the plan b's fight each other.

We already knew Hearn wasn't going to let Joshua face Wilder yet, even for $50 million! Miller does not look ready for the big leagues! 2 subpar performances in a row, at home too! Povetkin is the better opponent for Joshua! Wilder vs. Brezeale is trash too! Rather see Wilder vs. Kownacki in Brooklyn!

Of course opposing fans that didn’t have his best interests at heart. You almost sound surprised? I like Deontay but I’m Team Joshua but even I said that was a bull**** offer but it starts negotiations. That was the only reason I was pleased. Look at what that primary offer has now done to the magnitude of this fight. No more flat fees and a percentage north of 28 % more than likely capping at 33% and I think we have a deal.

As boxing fans we often 'default' to simply defend and support the position of the fighter from our own country. I am interested to know: are there any Americans on here who are willing to acknowledge how amateurish Wilder and his team have gone about this?

I mean: Actually just refusing to meet, or refusing to give details of their 'offer', like where, when, judges, rematch etc?

Surely anyone with eyes can see who is the pro here and who is F&*^% ing around !

If it was a stunt, Hearn wouldn’t be making a new offer.

                      Well, for example:

So whilst I'm happy to concede that both parties have engaged in actions which make reaching a deal more distant, you now have the burden of proof of establishing that when Hearn does it it's media whoring and fanbase manipulation but when Wilder's team do it, *it's not.

                      Good luck with that.

*Hint, it damn well is and you should know that.
