And do you have a source for the major american signing? Havent found anything other than a thread at boxingscene with no source.

He never said a "major American signing", his quote was "looking to sign 2 dozen fighters"

It won't be long now until Hearn has total dominion over the boxing world and all boxing fans will bow at the feet of the Great, Sir Edward Hearn. This is just the first step, just wait until he is crowned King of England!!

The consensus, whether true or false, is that Haymon’s boxers need a promoter.
The consensus among who? The promoters who have been left out in the cold by Haymon's business model? Clearly it's not the consensus among the fighters. Clearly it's not the consensus among the networks. Of course Hearn, De La Hoya and Arum are going to advocate for why fighters need a promoter. They're promoters! What do you expect them to say?

I agree. Unfortunately, as you can see on these boards, people support the promoters and what they stand for

Hearn just like to ride the coattail of anything that is news worthy. He promotes his fighters with other fighters victories and spot light. He is no different than any of the other promoters.

Every time I see the word Hearn in a thread title I know it's going to be full of BS.

Given the fights he has had recently and scheduled I presume he is going to get through Haye vs Bellew first. I think he then has a gap? Suspect the announcement will come maybe a week after that fight?
